Unleash your inner chocolatier as you craft your own personalised chocolate bar from scratch. Our artisan chocolate maker will guide you through each delicious step of the process, before you get to enjoy your handmade creation at the end. 

Yoga and Meditation

Looking for something a little more relaxing? We can organise a fully trained yoga instructor to visit during your stay. Enjoy a sunrise salutation in the gardens overlooking the sea or unwind after a busy day with a relaxing stretch and moment of mindfulness.

Cocktail Making

An experienced bartender will come to the Castle to guide you through the basics of cocktail making and then show you how to produce a selection of well-known drinks. Your bartender will teach you all the tips and tricks, whilst you create and enjoy your favourite cocktails.

Casino

A fun Casino evening, including Black Jack and Roulette, can be set up in the Castle. This is perfect for informal after dinner entertainment. Each guest will be given ‘fun money’ which they can exchange for chips and the one with the highest amount at the end of the evening will be awarded a prize.

Pasta Making

An accomplished Italian chef will arrive at the Castle to lead a relaxed, hands‑on pasta‑making class, teaching you how simple semolina dough can be shaped into a variety of traditional forms such as orecchiette, farfalle, tagliatelle, and more. You’ll learn the techniques behind each shape before cooking and enjoying the fresh pasta together, just as it’s done in Italian homes. 

Italian Home Cooking Class

Enjoy a relaxed and social Italian cooking experience where you’ll create delicious seasonal dishes using fresh ingredients and time‑honoured techniques. Guided by an expert, you’ll cook, taste, and share each dish together in true Italian style, making it a warm and memorable activity for everyone. 

Pizza Cooking Class

Dive into the traditional methods of making classic Sicilian pizza from scratch – from crafting the perfect dough to creating delicious topping combinations – before enjoying your handmade creation at the end of the workshop. 

Arancini Class 

Discover the joy of making authentic Sicilian arancini—the beloved crispy rice balls found in markets and street stalls across Sicily. In this hands‑on class, you’ll prepare two delicious fillings, shape and coat your arancini, and fry them to golden perfection before tasting your creations together. It’s a relaxed, flavour‑packed experience that brings a taste of Sicily straight to your stay. 

Cannoli Class

Step into the vibrant world of Sicilian pastry‑making and learn how to craft the iconic cannolo from scratch.In this hands‑on class, you’ll create crisp, golden shells and fill them with two delicious creams—classic sweet ricotta and a rich vegan chocolate custard—before decorating and boxing up your own cannoli to enjoy. 

Lazer Clay Pigeon Shooting

For this activity the company will set up in the gardens of the Castle. Participants will use real shotguns that have been deactivated and modified and use infra-red technology. When the trigger is pulled, the shotgun will generate a ‘bang’ and if you hit the target it reproduces the sound of a breaking clay.

Mobile Climbing Wall

A 7.5‑metre mobile climbing wall will be set up within the Castle grounds, offering an exciting challenge that guests of all ages can enjoy. Safely installed by the specialist provider, it’s a brilliant way to spark friendly competition, build confidence, and bring groups together in a fun, memorable way.

Soft Archery

Enjoy a fun and accessible introduction to archery, suitable for all ages and using soft-tip arrows. Our specialist providers will teach the basics before setting up light-hearted target challenges for everyone to try – a lively, social activity that always gets people smiling.

Murder Mystery

Step into an evening of classic comedy, mystery and intrigue as you and your guests become part of a fully immersive murder mystery experience. With a wide range of plots and formats to choose from, each event is crafted to suit your occasion. Our Penn team can also support you with bespoke costume design, helping bring each murder mystery character to life with style and authenticity.

Wooden Sauna 

An authentic wood‑fired sauna will arrive at the Castle, accompanied by a refreshing cold‑water immersion experience. Together, they create a restorative ritual designed to promote deep relaxation, gentle revival, and an overall sense of wellbeing.
